IBSOPHONE is a diver communication system for 1 or 2 divers. It was was designed in the end of 1960 for the Swedish Navy by Mr Börje Strömberg. The purpose of developing this product within diving was to meet the growing demand for high quality means of communication between the diver and his attendant. In august 2002, INGENJÖRSFIRMA CURT NYBERG AB took over the manufacturing of IBSOPHONE and have since then developed, manufactured and sold this communication system.
